I'm Felixberta G. Albeos, you can call me "Inday" or "Felix". I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved here in Canada for 16 years now. I am gifted with 6 grown up children.
I graduated Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Government Accounting and Auditing and worked as an Account Receivable Bookkeeper in one of the companies in the city where I lived. After I got married I resigned my job and manage our family business in the other part of the Philippines in Mindanao.
In order to be more independent, 6 years after, I decided to take education courses to support my passion since I was a child. I passed the licensure exam, and practice my profession as a multi-grade teacher for 5 years. Opportunity knocks once. So, I decided to answer the call to leave my family for 2 years.
I came in Canada as a contract worker in Tim Hortons with the helped of my sister-in-law. I worked night shifts doing baking, cleaning and served the customers. I preferred to ride my bike in summer and winter time or walk from church to home or home to work. I worked as janitor and a cashier at Walmart. After 1 year I was promoted and became Customer Service Manager up to the present. My passion always comes to my attention to work with little ones. I was offered to work in the daycare for 5 years and have given an opportunity to take ECE courses. I graduated ECE Diploma and Ms. Kate Swales is one of my mentors. Working hard and attending my ECE courses were just a magic. Having an sleepless nights and working full-time jobs didn't bother me. After I finished my ECE Diploma at the Yukon University, I quit my 2 jobs because I decided to open a day home. After 3 years of experience in working with little children, I decided to open a daycare. I manage my day home and a daycare and work in Walmart during evening time. My busy times make my day flies so fast. My jobs are tough but rewarding at the end of my day.
