I am currently the Director of the Dawson Society for Children and Families, locally known as Little Blue. We have 7 permanent staff. Three floor teachers: Toddler, Jr Preschool and Preschool; a floater to assist all groups, a ft cook and ft cleaner, plus myself.

I obtained my Diploma in ELCC from Sheridan College in Ontario and followed that with a Degree in ELCC from Ryerson University. I have been working in the field ever since. I spent 14 years working for the Child Development Centre as Dawsons Early Learning Therapy Assistant.

I have been in the Director position with DSCF for two years and we are in the process of trying to expand to a larger building that will house four nonprofits related to ELCC and offer more childcare spaces.
